A microgreen is a young, edible plant that is harvested at a very early stage of growth. They are typically smaller than baby greens and are harvested about 7 to 14 days after germination. Microgreens have a more intense flavor than mature plants and are often used as a garnish or to add flavor to dishes. Examples of microgreens include beets, broccoli, radish, arugula,shiso, wasabi, corn, leek, mesclun mix, kohlrabi, pea shoot, kale, sunflower…I could go on (Did we mention that we grow over 30 varieties?)

They are similar to microgreens but are specifically referring to herbs, which are known for their medicinal and culinary use.
